We only collect and use the data that is necessary, and we do not share any of this data.  Any emails you are sent will be deemed by us as relevant.  You can opt out of receiving email communication at any time and can also ask us to remove any data linked to yourself.

We are a very small business and do not have a Data Protection Officer, but do feel free to contact us should you have any queries.

    1. Online sign ups: We only collect the information that you provide us with. You voluntarily submit this on our website in order to sign up to our newsletter & follow and comment on our blog.
    2. Newsletters: We use SendinBlue to distribute our newsletters from the website. Your email address will be stored online in this plug in.  Should you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletters, you can do so anytime by emailing us.
    3. Blog: Our blog uses the Gravatar This provides globally unique avatars which can be used on a range of websites. 
    4. Online purchases: In the past we have used WooCommerce to power our online store.  As part of the ordering process, the plug-in collected the following data: your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information email address, and phone number.   All data associated with credit cards was collected via Stripe or PayPal, we do not hold this information at all.  Both Stripe and PayPal are Level 1 PCI DSS (The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant and very secure.  
    5. Device tracking: When you visit the website, we use Google Analytics to collect certain data about your device. All this information is anonymous however you can opt out using your own browser settings.  This information is collated by Google, and we are, for instance, able to use it to track how visitors to the site have found us and which pages they interact with.    We use this to help us improve the site for all visitors. 
    6. Social Media tracking: Similar analytic tools are employed on Facebook, Pinterest & Instagram. We use the anonymous data to create better social media content.  You can opt out using your own browser settings. 

  1. How we use the information

Our purpose for collecting your personal information was to enable us to ship physical products and is to ensure you can use and interact with our website services as you wish.  More specifically, we use/ have used your information in the following ways:

  1. For our online record keeping of purchase orders.
  2. To enable us to fulfil orders placed through the website.
  3. To enable us to arrange for shipping.
  4. To provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations.
  5. To communicate with you when appropriate to clarify an order or shipping address.
  6. To screen orders for potential risk or fraud
  7. To email newsletters and blog updates where you have subscribed to this service. Both these services are intended to promote and grow our business.

If you have placed an order through the website, we will maintain your order information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

The security of your personal information is really important to us. We have procedures in place to protect your personal information from unauthorised access or disclosure, both during transmission and once we receive it.  However, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.  We assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission or unauthorised third party access without our permission.

Please note that we do not alter our website’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
