Blackbird Eggs

Blackbirds are a familiar visitor to our garden.  They build nests low down in suitable cover, often in bushes, trees, shrubs and climbers and will often have 2-3 broods in a good year.  The nest is built by the female and is a substantial cup made from grass, twigs, straw and other plant material.  The female will lay between 3 to 5 eggs and will incubate  them for approximately 2 weeks.
