Ladybird Original Watercolour Painting – Illustration Style Fine Art
The 7-spot ladybird is one of the most common ladybirds in the UK.  They can be found anywhere near aphids which they feed on, indeed gardeners love them for this reason.  Their bright wing cases warn predators that they don’t taste good, although sometimes birds have a taste of them anyway!  Throughout the winter ladybirds will hibernate in cracks, hollow stems and crevices, emerging in April when the weather has warmed up.

Painting Dimensions
The size of the painting is approx: 18.8 cm x 27.7 cm (7.40″ x 10.90″).

Packaging & Materials
I have used an excellent quality watercolour paper and the finest of brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.

The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing.  Likewise, I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me.  I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.

A bit about me!

I love to capture the life within my paintings and also enjoy working with the watercolour medium to create fine detail.  I am continually adding to my portfolio and draw inspiration from amazing photographers and also the stunning North Devon environment.
