Realistic Leopard Watercolour Painting – Illustration Fine Art
Leopards are large cats that are closely related to lions, tigers and jaguars, they are actually the smallest of this group. Leopards are solitary, mainly nocturnal animals although they are partial to a siesta in the sun too! They are fantastic swimmers and climbers and will often store any food remaining from a kill high up in the branches of a tree. Most leopards have a light coloured coat with dark spots known as rosettes. The rose shaped spots are a superb camouflage and enable the leopard to creep within a few metres of its prey. Indeed, they have evolved to match the specific habitat – so can be rounder or squarer, lighter or darker. An adaptable animal suited to a range of habitats.

Packaging & Materials
I have used an excellent quality watercolour paper and the finest of brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.
The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing. Likewise, I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me. I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.
