Original Watercolour Horse Portrait, Fine Art Detail
Horses are one of the animals I really love to paint.  They have such wonderful facial expressions and also an incredible muscle structure.  Combine this with the shine on their coats and the strength within their bodies and I find them a joy to paint!  I completed this painting as a tutorial for my online school so know every detail.

Painting Dimensions
The size of the paper is approx. 29.9 cm x 20.8 cm (11.77″ x 8.18″)
The actual size of the painting is approx. 17.4 cm x 17.0 cm (6.85″ x 6.69″)

Packaging & Materials
I have used an excellent quality watercolour paper and the finest of brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.  Please note that frames and mounts are for illustration purposes only and are not included.

The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing.  Likewise, I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me.  I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.

A bit about me!

I love to capture the life within my paintings and also enjoy working with the watercolour medium to create fine detail.  I am continually adding to my portfolio and draw inspiration from amazing photographers and also the stunning North Devon environment.

And what about you?!

Do you want to learn how to create your own original watercolour horse portrait?   Take a look at becoming a member of my online school.  I feel that I have found my niche and I absolutely love teaching others.  Firstly, I find it extremely rewarding to be able to see the progress my students make.  Secondly I enjoy being able to interact directly with fellow wildlife artists.  Thirdly and most importantly I am able to share my love of the watercolour medium.  So take a look on YouTube or become a member, and you may see this painting being created or learn how to paint your own version.
