Chaffinch PDF
£3.00
Description
Learn to paint this lovely Chaffinch using washes, layers, stippling, dry brush and wet in wet. I will guide you through applying the background washes that, when combined with layers of fine detail, will give your painting depth and life. All this alongside a range of other watercolour techniques. Why not use the skills you gain to paint your own favourite bird?
This is an instant PDF download, you could start painting this male chaffinch in a matter of minutes! You will receive a 11-page PDF document which is set out in the same way as the tutorials I write for magazines, but you get more full page width photos of the different stages.
How do I paint feathers and wood? Find out how in my easy-to-follow tutorial – go on give this cheeky little Chaffinch a go!
Downloadable lessons enable you to work at your own speed. Firstly you can dip in and out of the content. Secondly you can spend time studying the fine details and practise the various techniques as often as you like.
I really like to focus on the watercolour techniques needed to create a realistic painting. Likewise, I love sharing this style of painting through my tutorials and hope I inspire others to create detailed wildlife portraits too.
Have fun with this lesson, take your time and let me know how you get on. Try printing off the last few pages which have the larger versions of the step-by-step photos for additional help.
Thanks for looking and have fun!
