Comma Butterfly

Description

The comma butterfly has some amazing markings that were just asking to be painted.  The name comes from the only white marking on its underside, which looks like a comma.

The size of the painting is approx. 8.8 cm x 11.1 cm (3.46″ x 4.37″), painted on a larger piece of watercolour paper. So a small but nonetheless lovely painting!

Packaging & Materials
I have used the finest brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.
The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing. I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me. I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.

A bit about me:
I am a full time professional artist based in North Devon in the United Kingdom. Specialising in wildlife – animals, birds, insects and botanical studies, I love to capture the life within my paintings. I very much enjoy the process of working with the watercolour medium to create fine detail.
