Description
This original painting of a Malabar Danio, captures the stunning colours of this little fish beautifully
The Malabar Danio is a tropical fish which originates from Sri Lanka and the west coast of India. It has become a popular aquarium fish, but needs to be kept in groups, as it is an active, schooling fish. On average, they grow to about 10 cm, although 15 cm has been recorded, that’s certainly going to need a pretty large tank, particularly as they like flowing water too.
