Mallard in Pen & Wash

Description

The Mallard is a familiar, well-known and much loved bird of waterways, ponds and lakes. It’s the bird that many children will remember feeding, and with its recognisable quack, one that they will imitate too. Mallards are dabbling ducks, so they don’t submerge completely, and you will often see them head down, with their tail in the air, as they search for food.

Packaging & Materials
I have used the finest brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.
The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing. I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me. I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.

I am a full time professional artist based in North Devon in the United Kingdom. Specialising in wildlife – animals, birds, insects and botanical studies, I love to capture the life within my paintings.
