Description

This is a feather from a Peacock, the male of a species technically called peafowl. The brightly coloured feathers are used in displays to attract peahens, who have a tendency to ignore them! Their tail feathers on the other hand are much shorter and brown. I filmed myself painting this project for my online school, so it is now a famous feather!!

Painting size 13.5 cm x 17.5 cm or 5.3” x 6.9”
Paper size 18 cm x 23 cm 7.1” x 9.1”

Please note that frames and mounts are for illustration purposes only and are not included.
