Lemurs are primates, they are only found on the island of Madagascar, and a few neighbouring small islands. Like other primates they use both their hands and feet to move through the trees, but their tails are not used to grip. They live in troops, of up to 30 animals, with a dominant female. Sadly these stunning animals are losing the forests they live in on Madagascar, and are now considered a threatened species.

I have used the finest brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.
The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing. I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me. I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.

I am a full time professional artist based in North Devon in the United Kingdom. Specialising in wildlife – animals, birds, insects and botanical studies, I love to capture the life within my paintings. I very much enjoy the process of working with the watercolour medium to create fine detail.
