Description
Original Watercolour Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) Painting, Realistic Illustration Style Artwork
Dolphins are sociable animals, often found in pods of up to 15 individuals, and communicating with squeaks and whistles. They will frequently hunt as a group, working together to find and catch the fish they feed on. Each dolphin can be identified by the unique pattern of notches on the dorsal fin, which has allowed them to be studied over periods of time by scientists.
