Description

This galaxy painting was a bit of fun. Indeed, something different from the fine, realistic detail that I normally paint. I worked on a set of three, one of which is available on YouTube as a tutorial. So you can see exactly how I painted it from start to finish. Each would make an ideal inexpensive gift for someone interested in the solar system, stars, galaxies and the night sky. Maybe an astronomer or novice star gazer, a child or an adult? I liked the finished effect, particularly with the double border – I hope you do too.

Painting Dimensions
Please note the slightly torn paper.  It is only really visible close up and doesn’t distract from the piece at all. (see gallery photo)
Painting size 15.7 cm x 24.1 cm or 6.2” x 9.5”
Paper size 18.5 cm x 26.8 cm or 7.3” x 10.6”

Please note that frames and mounts are for illustration purposes only and are not included.

Packaging & Materials
I have used the finest brushes to produce the tiny details which bring this painting to life.
The painting will be carefully wrapped in cellophane and protected with additional packing. I aim for my originals to arrive with you in the same condition that they left me. I use the Royal Mail’s ‘Signed for Next Day’ or ‘International Tracked’ service.

PLEASE NOTE: Buyers are responsible for any tariffs, duties and fees that may apply.

A bit about me:
I am a full time professional artist based in North Devon in the United Kingdom. Specialising in wildlife – animals, birds, insects and botanical studies, I love to capture the life within my paintings. I very much enjoy the process of working with the watercolour medium to create fine detail. My portfolio is ever expanding and many of my paintings are available as tutorials – both written and video. Take a look on my channels, and you may see this painting being created, maybe even have a go yourself!
Thank you for browsing my work, and I look forward to hearing from you.
