Description

The Redpoll is a small finch which feeds on small seeds. They tend to travel in flocks, sometimes with Siskins, and are becoming a more common garden visitor. Although we’ve never knowingly had one in our garden. There are 4 types of Redpoll, although ornithologists are still to decide on whether they are distinct species, subspecies or races. We believe this may be a Common Redpoll.
