Rufous Hummingbird

Description

Rufous Hummingbird – ORIGINAL Watercolour painting

A small hummingbird of about 8 cm which flies 2000 miles during its migration! They feed on nectar or insects whilst they are on the wing. This was a project I worked on with some new paints given to me by Regina’s watercolors. Luxurious handmade paints which were lovely to paint with and produced some amazing rich colours. See some of these painting processes on my channels as I tried them out on there!

Painting size 18.9 cm x 14.4 cm or 7.4” x 5.7”
Paper size 26.8 cm x 21 cm or 10.6” x 8.3”

Please note that frames and mounts are for illustration purposes only and are not included.
