Description

This stunning animal lives in the vast forests of Russia and China, where temperatures are cooler and they are surrounded by forests. They have adapted to this way of life, their fur grows up to 7cm long to keep them warm, and they prey on woodland dwelling mammals, like wild boar, deer and badgers. They are named after the Amur River which runs along the border of both countries.
