Watercolor Painting Tutorial, Downloadable Wildflower PDF Fine Art Guide

Dandelions are a very common wildflower, they can be seen all year round in grasslands, lawns, verges and pastures. Many insects benefit from the food supplied by the familiar dandelion flower. However, the plant does not need to be pollinated in order to set seed. The flowers develop into seeds, each one being an exact replica of the parent plant. Children have long loved blowing the delicate seeds from the dandelion and counting the number of puffs to tell them the time, Artists have simply been challenged to try and paint them!

This is a fun tutorial which involves a lot of very careful application of masking fluid. If you really want to master using masking fluid this is a good project to have a go at. The more time you spend and the finer the lines you produce with your masking fluid the better your finished painting will look. The level of delicate detail you need to create with the latex really is challenging, and it’s definitely worth spending as much time as possible on it.

This is an instant PDF download, you could start painting this dandelion clock in a matter of minutes. You don’t even need to wait for the post to arrive! You will receive an 18-page PDF document. Downloadable lessons enable you to work at your own speed, you can dip in and out of the content, you can spend time studying the fine details and practise the various techniques as often as you like.
